Ever since I got my PhD in agricultural engineering, my career has been spent working in agriculture and sustainability. From hog farms to corn fields to wastewater treatment plants, I've been working in agriculture and sustainable technologies for the last fifteen years.
I've also worked as a volunteer and community organizer around issues like housing, getting progressives elected to local office, and anti-war advocacy. Growing up, my family and my grandmother taught me to show up for the community and support the vulnerable.
For the last two years I've been organizing to stop sending our tax dollars to Israel for its genocide in Gaza.

Every day that the US funds Israel's war crimes, our country violates international and domestic law and commits unspeakable violence in service of a foreign government.
Whether it's Israel or Iraq, Afghanistan or Argentina, Americans are tired of our federal government sending our tax dollars overseas for bailouts and wars, instead of improving the lives of Americans.
The establishment won't stand on popular policies like universal healthcare and ending US support for Israel because of money from corporations, billionaires, and foreign governments.
I'm running for Congress because the ruling class is driving us into a future of endless wars abroad, while Americans at home can't afford rent, healthcare, and groceries.
We should be spending our tax dollars building up local communities, not bombing them overseas.
It's time to bring our tax dollars and our troops home. It's time to rebuild America by reinvesting in America.

3% of US military spending could end starvation on Earth.
2% of military spending could end homelessness.
